🍄 HAPPENING THIS WEEK: HOUBY FEST & PARADE 2025 – A TRADITION YOU CAN'T MISS! 🍄

Did you know "Houby" means mushroom in Czech and Slovak? For over 50 years, Cicero comes together every fall to celebrate the harvest, honor our Czech and Slovak heritage, and unite our community through music, food, culture, and fun.

📅 Thursday, Oct. 2 - Sunday, Oct. 5 
📍 34th St. & Laramie Ave. 

👑 Join us on Sunday, Oct.5 at 12 P.M. on Cermak Road for the Houby Parade — our proud tradition where the whole community (including all of our schools) march together! 

Will also have a merch booth at the festival every night! In addition to the carnival rides & games, there will be 3 stages of Live entertainment, food, antojitos, and many more vendors! 

Houby Fest is a celebration of our community. It's where music, heritage, and family meet. It's where kids see our staff, their neighbors, and friends side by side. And it's where we all remind ourselves that Cicero's greatest strength is its people. 

So bring your family, pick up your wristbands, show us your school pride, and let's make Houby Fest 2025 the biggest celebration yet!
